05 persons injured in road accidents | KNO

Srinagar, February 07 (KNO): Five persons were injured in different road accidents in Budgam and Sopore districts of the valley. In Budgam, a tractor bearing registration number JK18-6865 hit a motorcycle ridden by Feroz Ahmad Para resident of Rahkhai Chrar e Sharif at Kalai Bazar, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Chrar e Sharif for treatment where from he was shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. In another accident, a Santro car bearing registration number JK03A/6550 driven by Mohammad Yousuf Magray resident of Pakherpora and a Scooty bearing registration number JK04D/7556 ridden by Adil Ahmad Dar resident of Wagni Darwan collided at Pakherpora Crossing, resulting in injuries to the scooty rider. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Pakherpora for treatment. Budgam police has registered cases regarding these accidents. In Sopore, an Alto K-10 car bearing registration number JK05G/0237 driven by Syed Himayat Ashraf resident of Khoor Pattan and a Truck bearing registration number JK05C/1729 driven by Irfan Ahmad Laway resident of Parimpora Srinagar collided on National Highway at Putkhah in the jurisdiction of Police Station Tarzoo, resulting in injuries to three persons namely Syed Himayat, Ishfaq Hussain Sofi resident of Bran Pattan and Hyder Ali Khan resident of Tangmarg. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Pattan for treatment where from they were shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment. Sopore police has registered a case in this regard.(KNO)
